This past Sunday, December 8th, 2024, our charity, A Piece of Sunshine, hosted a heartwarming event at our usual spot in McArthur Park, Los Angeles. It was a day filled with compassion, community, and Christmas spirit as we came together to support those in need.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our donors and the tireless efforts of our volunteers, we were able to provide an abundance of food to the homeless. Additionally, we distributed warm blankets to help with the chilly December nights, along with clothing for both adults and children.
In keeping with the holiday spirit, we also shared toys with the kids, bringing smiles and joy to their faces. To top it all off, our founder, Siray Kong, surprised everyone by bringing a beautiful Christmas tree, adding a magical touch to the event and spreading festive cheer.
The event was a success because of the dedicated volunteers who joined us. Your willingness to spend your Sunday giving back to the community made a meaningful difference. Whether it was serving food, organizing donations, or simply sharing kind words, every contribution was invaluable. We cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity.
